ELEM Youth

The ELEM Youth Program is an outreach program in which high school students are trained to reach out to their peers who are in need of help, advice and direction. Because these youth are in the schools and are non-authority figures, they are often able to be more effective in helping a youth in need or in distress.

The program also serves to develop a sense of social responsibility and solidarity among youth and encourages them to become socially involved, as well as more open-minded towards populations with special needs.

Elem Youth are not only active in the schools, but volunteer in ELEM's programs including the Hafuch al Hafuch Counseling and Information Center.
