Michal, an 11th grade high school student in Jerusalem, has been working for the past three years, since the age of 14. Four times a week she works as a waitress and a clerk in a clothing store. She says, "I do not like to ask my parents for money. They are not in a good financial situation and they have four small children to support." Michal did not want to be a burden on her family. No child should have to feel like they are a burden.
